UNREHEARSED COMEDY.

PEER AND HIS PARCELS. "LIKE THE GOOD OLD DAYS." LONDON, Sept, 27. Mr. Joe Coyne, the comedian on Saturday was surprised and elated to receive, at the Palace Theatre, 1000 cigarettes, 12 brace of game, and a bottle of hair lotion. He said that it reminded him of the good old days when unknown admirers showered gifts upon him. Mr. Coyne distributed the eigarettss, grouse and partridges among Binnie Haie, Vera Pearce, George Grossmiih, other stars, and the stage hands, and presented the hair lotion to an elderly bald critic. While seated in his dressing room he was astounded to receive a telegram from Lord Dudley, formerly Governor-General of Australia, with whom he was to spend the week-end at Le Touquct, reading: " Please bring over all my parcels, addressed to you at the theatre,''* Mr. Coyne coolly despatched messengers to replace Lord Dudley's purchases.
