WAGES ON THE COALFIELDS. INSISTENCE IN DEMANDS. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Oct. 6. Aggrega e meetings of the colliery employees at Weston, Cqgsnock. Kurri Kurri and Paxtcu passed a resolution that in the event of the proprietors refusing to concede their claims lor a minimum wage of £5 10s by the end of the week, aggregate meeting; will be held throughout the whole organisation on Monday to further deal with the position.
