AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE. Conditions on the Auckland sharemarket showed little alteration" yesterday. Quotations for New Zealand Government securities were fax? and far between. In banks there was a sale of Nationals of New Zealand at £6 13s, with late holders asking £6 14s, buyers £6 12s. Holders of New Zealands were again at 575, while buyers unproved threepence to 56s 6d. In insurances holders of New Zea lands were a penny lower at -36s Bci, buyers again offering 36s 3d. South British were available at the iower figure of 50s 6d, with demand also weaker at 50s. In gas Auckknds changed hands at 22s 2d, a penny below the previous day's sale figure. In shipping a transaction in Union (pref.j was reported at 20s 3d, closing holders asking 20s 6d. In miscellaneous lines, holders of New Zealand Breweries reached 50s, with buyers at 47s 6d Wilsons Cement had sale at the previous day's figure of 34s 6d, with late holders at 35s and buyers at the sale price. In mining there were a couple of sales of Kawaraus at 6s. Closing demand was at that figure, with holders asking 6s 2d Holders of VVaihis advanced a penny to 25s 9d, buyers 25s 3d. The following sales took place:— National Bank of New Zealand, £6 13s; Auckland Gas, 22s 2d; Union Steam Ship (pref.}, 20s 3d; Wilsons Cement, 34s 6d; Kawarau, 6s (two sales).
