We are proud of the splendid work of our sturdy Scottish pioneers in helping to lay the foundation of our colonisation and development. New Zealand offers ample opportunity for industrious, thrifty, patriotic settlers, and these being national characteristics of the Soot we will cordially welcome those who desire to make homes for themselves and their families in this fair British land."
