HAMILTON COMPETITIONS.
OPENING ON OCTOBER 15. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, Tuesday. Over 1100 entries have been received for the Hamilton musical and elocutionary competitions, which commence on October 15. The competitions committee lost evening decided to make the evening programmes concert performances, Mr. Bernard Page, of Wellington, was appointed instrumental judge.
