MERGANSER WRECKED.

BOUND FOR DOMINION. YAWL ADVENTURE ENDED. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Oct. 4. The Lisbon correspondent of the Sunday Express says the. auxiliary yawl Merganser, with Mr. William Unitt and his daughter aboard, was wrecked at Port Caminha, North Portugal. The two adventurers were rescued by fishermen. The Norwegian steamer Ragnar reported on September 28 that it had found Mr, and Miss Unitt, who were en route to New Zealand, of! the coast of Portugal. They were flying signals of distress. The motor on the yawl had broken down and they were short of provisions. The Merganser was supplied with necessities and proceeded to make for Ferrol, Spain.
