POVERTY BAY WOOL.
FIRST OF CLIP ARRiVES. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COR&BSPONDKNT. ] GISBORNE, Monday. The first of the ucw season's wool dip has arrived. The wool is in good condition, although lighter than usual, and in view of the weather experienced it is probable that the majority of Poverty Bay clips will be light. The wet winter followed by high winds has been responsible for a shortage of feed on manv stations and pastoralists are looking anxiously for rain to soften the ground and bring on a generous flush of spring growth.
