AUCKLAND POWER DISTRICT
PROPOSED £650.000 LOAN. A poll of ratepayers of the Auckland Electric Power District on the proposal to borrow £650,000 for electrical development in the district will be held on Thursday, October 22. An elector is entitled to only one vote even though he may be a ratepayer in more than one constituent district. He must be enrolled on the electors' roll in his own right. The loan is required for water power conversion and general extension work. A list of polling places has been advertised.
