HEAVY SATURDAY SALES.
RECORDS SINCE 1906 BROKEN
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 8. AU records since 1906 for a two hours' Saturday session on the New York Stock Exchange were broken to-day. The total sales reached 1,274,400 shares. This is only the 26th time in the history of the Exchange that a Saturday's sales have passed the million mark. The record was established on August 18, 1906, with 1,603,430 sales.
