AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE. ; ■' J Business was doll oa the Auckland sharemarket at the Saturday morning call. Little interest was shown in Government securities, there being offers for only four issues at prices that showed little change. In banks buyers of Nationals entered the market at £6 lis 6d, sellers quoting £6 13s 6d, against £6 14s the previous day. New Zgalands were unchanged at 56s 9d and 57s 3d. Buyers of Unions were Is firmer at £l4 13s 6d, sellers being revealed at £l4 15s. In insurance New Zealands and South British were unchanged. In gas Auckland buyers advanced 3d to 225, sellers firm at 22s sd. In mining Waihis were done at 255, at which figure more were wanted, sellers 25s 3d. The following sale took place:—Waihi, 255. The Stock Exchange will be closed today, Dominion Day.
