DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.
TAKAPUNA CONTRIBUTION. In order to advertise the attractions of Takapuna to the people of New Zealand and visitors intending to take up residence in the Dominion, the Takapuna Borough Council decided last evening > to contribute £2OO to the Auckland provincial court at the Dunedin Exhibition. Plans for Takapuna's participation include the preparation" Of a" large coloured map in relief, showing the contour of the district, including the lake and beaches, and the occupation of 12 pages in the Auckland provincial booklet which is to be distributed gratis at the exhibition. As illustrating the D9minion-wide sphere open to advertising, Mr. K. H. Greville stated that no less than ten families from the South Island had recently come to reside in Bayswater.
