PUKEKOHE HORSE FAIR.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUKEKOHE, Wednesday. Messrs, Alfred Buckland and Sons, Limited, annual spring horse fair here opened to-day, when over 100 heavy and medium draughts were offered. For horses showing decided quality, which were in a minority, the demand was good. The 1 top price was £44 for a good seven-year-old * gelding. Other heavy draughts were from £35 upwards, arid medium draughts from £22 to £3B.
