BREACHES BY MOTORISTS.
LIGHTER DAY IN COURT.
NEARLY ALL MINOR CASES.
Charges against motorists in the P#* Court yesterday for breaches of the bylaws were not as numerous as they have been for some weeks. For failing to provide lighting to vehicles Ralph Wvnn Morton, Arthur Schneideman, William pvmgstone and Harold Blythe were wch fiped 10s and costs. A similar penalty imposed on Thomas Dennis, who orp an unregistered lorry in Symonds btree. A youth, Leslie C. Guy an, was finw 10s for driving an unlicensed motorcycle,* while for failing to obey the sipal of a constable at an intersection be was ordered to pay costs. . W. F. McCallum (Mr. Inder) (> who pleaded not gpilty to driving in a negligent manner, was convicted ana ordered to pay costs. . .. For passing a stationary tram ttoiDerw W. Heaven was fined £2 and costs. Failure to notify change of ownership of a irotor vehicle cost William Br*cfc Levland 10s and costs. Henrv Stevens, who stopped a vehicle at a safety zone, was fined 5s and on each of two charges, while for a similar offence Richard Horn was convicted and ordered to pay costs- , Henry Gilmour was fined IDs and costs for leaving a car unattended. A similar fine was imposed on Leonard Andrews, who failed to produce ma license on request.
