DACOITS ROB A TRAIN.
PASSENGERS MURDERED. TRAGIC AFFAIR NEAR LUCKNOW. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Router. DELHI. Aug. 10. It is reported from Kakori, near Lucknow, that four armed and masked dacoits held up the guard of a moving passenger train at tho point of tho revolver, pulled the communication cord and stopped the train. The four assailants were then joined by 16 others, also masked. These men rifled the brake van and decamped with tho cash chests, after restarting tho train. A Gurkha passenger, while he was arming himself, was shot dead; also a Mohammedan and a European passenger, tho latter while attempting to out of a compartment. An armed contingent of raihvaymen has been despatched to the scene of tho outrage.
