A FARMER KILLED.
LOAD OF WOOD CAPSIZES. internal: injuries sustained. [by telegram.—press association.] DANNEVIRKE, Saturday. John Douglas Galloway, aged 41 years, a farmer with a wifo and six children residing at Maharahara, died in tho hospital to-day from injuries received in an accident at his farm on Friday.. Tho deceased went to get a load of firewood, and was found some 10 hours later pinned underneath the load, which had capsized. Ho was injured internally and collapsed on Saturday morning. The late Sir. Douglas was a member of the Dannevirkc Power Board, the Wood' villo County Council, and other local bodies. He was held in high esteem.
