Particulars of the complete agreement reached by a conciliation council in this Dominion private hotels dispute is now available. The following wages were agreed to:— Kitchen, where six or moro hands ayd employed: Chief cook, males £5 ss, females, £4 14s; second cook, males £3 15s, females, £3 6s 6d; third cook, males £3 10s, females £2 4s; other workers, Male? £2 ss, females £1 17$ 6d. "Where fivi? hands are employed: £5 2s, £3 12s, £3 9s 6d and £2 5s for males, and £2 lis, £3 3s 6d, £2 3s 6d and £1 17s fid for females, Four hands: £4 12s, £3 2s, £2 7s and £2 5s for males, and £4-Is, £2 13s 6d, £1 15s 6d and £1 7s 6d for females. Three hands: £3 19s 6d. £2 12s and £2 5s for males, and £3 13s 6d, £2 6s and £1 17s 6ii for females. Two hands: £3 2s and £2 7s for males, and £2 16s and £1 15s 6d for females. One hand: £2 9s 6d for male and £2 3s 6d for female. Kitchen hand attending to boiler, 5s per day extra. Dining Koom.—Waiter £2 17s, head waitress £1 16s; other waitresses and housemaid-waitresses, £1 lis; housemaids, £1 lis; pantrymen, £2 ss; pantrymaids, £1 lis; night porters, £2 7s; day porters, £2 ss; m&je general .hands, £2 .ss; female general hands,'£2 Is; laundress, £1 13s 6d; linen maids, £1 13s 6d; relieving maids, £1 lis. Hours and general conditions are on tho lines of the old award.
