TWO WAYWARD GIRLS.
"ENTIRELY OUT OF CONTROL" The theft of flowers valued at 5s from the Mount Eden Borough Reserve resulted in the appearance of two girls, aged .17 and 15 years, in the Juvenile Offenders Court before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., on Saturday. Adjutant Gordon said that both girls were entirely out of control. Their associates were undesirable, and efforts at restraint had proved futile. The elder girl was ordered to remain with the female probation officer pending her committal to an institution, and the younger was committed to the Auckland Receiving Home.
