EGHO OF LAUNCH SALE. DAMACES FOR PURCHASER. Damages amounting to £147 were j claimed by Morton Walter Paul (Mr. Colliding) from George Was worth (Mr. Holmden), in the Magistrate's Court yesterday in connection with tho purchaso of a launcli which was alleged to have failed to stand up to the guarantee. After hearing -.lengthy technical (evidence tho magistrate, ,Mr. Hunt, said plaintiff was entitled to some compensation, but the amount claimed was excessive. Judgment was given, for plaintiff for £7O.
