ROME'S HOLY YEAR.
CONSISTORY TO FOLLOW. APPOINTMENT OF CARDINALS. Reutor. LONDON, May 24. A message from Rome states that after IToly Year the Pope will hold a consistory, as ho wishes to demonstrate his gratitude for the splendid demonstration of faith from all parts of the world. His Holiness will appoint a number of foreign cardinals. Many names arc mentioned, including those of Dr. Byrne, Archbishop of Dublin, Dr. O'Donnell, Archbishop of Armagh, and Dr. Mannix, Archbishop of Melbourne. The two last-named would replace in the Sacred College the late Cardinals Logue and Moral).
