CARNARVON COLLECTION. HIGH PRICE FOR GAINSBOROUGH. (Received 5.5 p.m.} Renter. LONDON. May 24. The sale of tho art collection of the late Earl of Carnarvon lias concluded. The total realised was £IBO,OOO. A sum of 17,000 guineas was paid for Gainsborough's [>or trait of the Countess oi Chesterfield.
