SUB-NORMAL CHILDREN.
NEW SOUTH WALES SCHEME. One o£ the New South Wales Government's chief reforms has been the scheme for the education of sub-normal children, for whom no adequate provision in that way had hitherto been made. The Premier explained recently that, under tho Government's proposal, those children would bo accommodated in suitable cottages, to be built near Glenfield railway station. They would be under the care of specially-selected teachers. It is 'the Government's hope that a large percentage of those sub-normal ( children will, as the result of carefui training, become useful citizens.
