PROGRESS OF ILLNESS.

The following official bulletin in connection with the Prime Minister's illness was issued at noon to-day:— " Mr. Massey passed a somewhat restless night and the patient's condition shows no improvement." An inquiry late to night elicited the statement that there was no change to report.
A motion of deep sympathy with Mr. Massey in his illness, and expressing hopes for his speedy recovery, was carried at a meeting held in Pukekoho last evening to discuss railway matters. Tlio meeting was a most representative one, including members of the Chamber of Commerce, Franklin Comity Council, Pukekohe Borough Council, the Dairy Farmers' Union, and business men and growers from Pukekohe and Patumahoc.
Numerous other resolutions of sympathy have been passed by local bodies throughout the Dominion.
