The following navigation warning was broadcasted by the Thursday Island radio on April .14, at 10.40 p.m. : "An uncharted rock, 12ft high, with shoals to south-westward, is reported to have, been located in latitude J0.41 south, Kmgitudo 138.50 cast,"
