NO NIGHT PARADES.
DEPARTMENT'S DECISION. CANCELLATION OF CAMPS. Owing to the cancellation of the territorial camps for the present military year, trainees will not bo called upon to perform the usual seven days' continuous training.
Tho original decision was for the majority of the camps to be held in February and March, but they were postponed indefinitely, owing to the infantile paralysis epidemic. The hope was 0' Pertained that the complete training scheme might be carried out before the winter months, but tho year is so far advanced that it is now considered impracticable to hold tho training camps. No night training will take place until a definite date is fixed by the defence headquarters in Wellington.
