MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
*£* The Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister for Railways and Public Works and Post-master-General, is expected "to reach Auckland this evening from his tour of tho North. The Minister will spend several days in the city. To-morrow lie will preside. at the conference of local bodies to consider the safeguards necessary for the public protection in connection with the construction of the waterfront railway along Quay Street.
