ORPHANAGE FOR WHANGAREI. i SITE OF TWENTY-THREE ACRES* , [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT-1 1 WHANGAREI. Saturday. An anonymous donor, a resident of Auckland, has given to the public ot Whangarei and district a valuable property of 23 acres at Tikipunga for the purpose of a Protestant orphanage. Tho property is valued at £IOOO. Five business men of Whangarei have undertaken the trusteeship. The property is donated with a stipulation that the orphanage, when erected, will be open to children of any religious denomination.
