MATAMATA COUNTY LOAN. BILL FOR COMING SESSION. | [BY TELECRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] MATAMATA. Friday. Further steps are being taken in connection with the Matamata County loan of £2oooj legalisation of which %vas held up on account of objections being lodged. A conference with the objectors was held recently, a compromise was arrived at and the opposition was withdrawn. The council has decided to prepare a local bill for next session.
