COMPENSATION CLAIM.
« s „ AWARD TO A WIDOW. HUSBAND KILLED ON TAHITI. Australian and N.Z. C'ablo Association. (Reed. 12.13 a.m.) SYDNEY. Feb. 12. The District Court has awarded Mrs. Annie Wbaley £SOO as compensation from the Union Company for the loss of her husband, who was an engineer's fitter on the Tahiti. The man was killed in Sydney in December through a bucket falling on him while he was repairing an air pump aboard the vessel.
