WORLD'S RECORD DUCK.

CROYDON COMPETITION. Advice has been received from the secretary of the dtick egg-laying competition at Croydon, South Australia, by Mr. I ,?■ Scott, of Avondale South, that his Indian Runner duck, which previously broke the world's record for ducks of 225 t ßps, laid 241 eggs in as many days, thus establishing a new record.
