PRESENTATIONS.
Prior to their departure from Hamilton for England, Dr. G. W. Gower, surgeon superintendent of the Waikato Hospital, and Mrs. Gower, were entertained to afternoon tea by the nursirifc staff of the hose'tal. The matron, Miss Hodd, thanked r. Gower for the kindness and consideration ho had always shown the nursing staff, while Dr. L. A. Lewis, the actingsuperintendent, spoke eulogistically on behalf of the permanent medical staff. Dr. Gower was presented with a set of silverbacked hair brushes and a box of cigars, and Mrs. Gower was given a leather-work cushion. The presentation of a set of safety razors, with an inscribed case, was made last evening to Mr. J. E. Page, choir master, by members of St. Peter s Church choir, prior to his departure for England, The vicar, Archdeacon E. M. Cowie, wished Mr. Pago a pleasant voyage.
