ORGAN GRINDER'S BEQUEST
FIVE POUNDS FOR R.S.A. Members of the executive of the Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association last evening had a pleasant surprise in a letter from the executors in the estate of the late Mr. Joseph Newzil, an organ grinder, stating ho had bequeathed £5 to the association. In his early years Mr. Newzil was a marine in the American Navy. Just before his death he donated 5s to the association for meals for unemployed returned men. The bequest was great fully acknowledged by the executive, it being felt that such an action on the part of an organ grinder is worthy of the greatest praise,
