POPE AND MUSSOLINI.
A PENDING CONCORDAT. HIS HOLINESS MAY TRAVEL. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Tlecd. 8.35 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 11. The Morning Post gives prominence to a statement to the effect that it is understood in Roman Catholic circles in England that there is considerable likelihood of a concordat being shortly reached between the Pope and Signer Mussolini, Prime Minister of Italy. In that case tho Pope proposes to make a tour of the world. This is the most definite statement so far made on the subject, as to which there have been many previous reports.
