NEW SOVIET DECREE.
COPYRIGHT FOR AUTHORS. 25 YEARS' PROTECTION. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Feb. 8. A now Soviet decree allows literary and musical dramatic authors to retain the copyright of their works for a maximuni of 25 years after their first appearance, but the Government, reserves the right to acquire compulsorily any desirable work on payment of an .officially fixed compensation.
