RACING CLUB GUARANTORS.
BANK DEMANDS PAYMENT. DEBT TO BE LIQUIDATED. Ibv telegraph.—-own correspondent.3 MORRINSVILLE. Wednesday. The amount owing to the Bank of New Zealand by the Morrinsville Racing Club, now in liquidation, amounts to £3045. A short time ago the bank notified three of the guarantors to meet this amount. As a result a meeting of all guarantors was called, but only a few attended. Itwas decided by those present , to wipe off the account, and sue those guarantors who did not come up to the mark. Fifteen of the guarantors have written out cheques for £203 each, • Notice lias been served on a number of others to pay within a week, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken.
