CHILDREN'S RAIL TICKETS.
EXTENDING EXPIRY DATE. THE MINISTER FAVOURABLE. The extension of the expiry date of children's excursion tickets, owing to schools not re-epening on account of the outbreak of infantile paralysis, was a question referred to the Minister for Railways, the Hon. J. C. C'oates, lalt evening. "I do not think there will be any trouble about such extension, if necessary," said Mr. C'oates. "As a matter of fact, the tickets are available for return until Saturday, February 14. The question has not been raised before, but I will look into it."
