Fifty pairs of ladies' sUk hose and five pairs of shoes, valued at between £50 and £60, were stolen from the p rem i ses of Messrs. S. Stone and Company, Ltd boot and she* importers, at the corner of Queen Street and Darby Street, on Thursday night. The entry to the shop was effected by mean? of a skylight above the ladies' showroom door in Darby Street. The theft appeared to have been perpetrated by two men, who made their choice from the most valuable portion pf the stock. The police are investigating the matter.
