OFFER OF EXPENSES. [by telegraph.— press association.] WELLINGTON. Saturday. In reference to the' proposed tour of the athletes, Charles Paddock and Loren Murchison, to the Dominion, Mr. C. G. Krogness wrote to tho New Zealand Amateur Association fchut they would accept an invitation subject to their expenses being fully paid. The tour would-include Now Zealand, Australia and Japan. Thoy had reserved a passage on January 14 to Honolulu, thence on January 22 to New Zealand. II a New Zealand tour was arranged they would arrive in Auckland on February 2, and stay for a mouth in the Dominion. That would allow of about eight public appearances. | i'he council deoided to cable a reply that h wouftl meet up to £110 all expenses in New Zealand, provided Paddock and Murchison remained for six weeks.
