POWER IN THE WAIKATO.
THE CAMBRIDGE DISTRICT. GROWTH OF THE REVENUE. [BY teijjg OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CAMBRIDGE.. Friday. The Can bridge Electric Power Board met yesterday afternoon, the chairman. Mr. M. Wells, presiding. The board approved of the Finance Committee extending a further sum of £210 toward assisting domestic installations. The connections to date • include:— P.ural lighting and heating, 349; milking motors, 213; Cambridge lighting and heating, 404; Hamilton, 94; water heaters, 10; ranges, 34. The treasurer reported balances as follows:—Power fund, debit, £1737 17s lOd; loan account, debit, £11,812 10s 7d; installation account, credit, £294 3s lid. Tho revenue for the half-yearly period showed an increase of £1432 3s lid over the previous six months.
