; TRAFFIC BLOCK IN KARAXGAHAPE ROAD. CROWDS GATHER TO SEE WHAT'S HAPPENED. , , Pedestrian traffic runs smoothly, pro- ! viding everybody keeps on the move., but I let something unforeseen occur and there's a traffic block in a few seconds. Such : was tho case yesterday iu Karangahapo Road. The attraction that stopped the I flow of pedestrians was the magnificent j floral and bouquet display exhibited by I Miss Carney, the florist. There's little j wonder crowds clamoured to see these ! latest creations by Miss Carney. The sight, | that met tho eye was nothing less than ! inspiring. Of particular beauty was a i bridal suite. The bridal bouquet was oi; white sweet sultana and alba lilies, set, j in maidenhair fern, and finished with silk \ ribbon streamers. i The bridesmaid's bouquet comprised I dahlias, roses, and primulinas of a delicate I orange shade that looked glorious, Bet off against the maidenhair fern, and finished with silk ribbon streamers. The mother's bouquet was carried cut ! in crimson dahlias, gorberus, and carnaj tions, mingled with specially imported ! foliage. j Amongst the other exhibits were many ! presentation posies, of which one was particularly beautiful. It was a "bon voy- | age" posio of choice blooms of a delicate j apricot colour, contrasted with Black | Prince pansies, a magnificent combination.
