HOLIDAYS AT HOWICK. A happy arid healthful holiday at reasonable rates is assured to Auckland ! business girls by the establishment of the Y.W.C.A. Girls' Holiday Camp at Howick. For some year* past, the associa--1 inn's Christina,h camp has solved the holiday problem fir girls at work in the city in must delightful manner, and tho authorities arc fortunate in having boon I aide this year to secure the use of a fine I house and garden at Howick. The situat ion is beautiful, the camp being situated j 011 a point overlooking the sea. There are 22 acres of ground, including the garden 1 and playing fields. Special buses will take campers right to the gate. The camp, which will bo under the direction of Miss .lean Stevenson, wilj open on December 24. and will close on February 2. 'Ihere will be accommodation for 40 girls, and it is desired that applications from intending campers should bo sent in without delay. Special attention will be "ive:i to outdoor recreation and exercise.
