ARBITRATION COURT.
MARITIME DISPUTES.
Tho Auckland sitting of the Arbitration Court was continued yesterday before Mr. Justice I*razor and Messrs. W. Scott and H. Hunter, assessors. In the trawling dispute, a full agreement had been reached with the exception of one, clause relating to holidays. Tho point was whether workers who had served for only six months should have a proportionate holiday. Mr. Wright appeared for the employers and Mr. Young for the Seamen's Union. Decision on tho point was reserved. The Kaipara Seamen's dispute was also heard. Mr. Hammond appeared for the shipping companies, and Mr. Young and Mr. Anderson for the union. The principal points for argument concern' d rates of wages, hours of work, overtime, a weekly half-day off duty, regulation of operation of winches, and yard-arms, and a more frequent fumigation of tho quarters. Decision was reserved.
