WARKWORTH DAIRYING.
A CO-OPERATIVE FACTORY. FORMATION OF THE COMPANY. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] WARKWORTH. Friday. A representative meeting of dairy suppliers in the" Warkworth Town Hall last j evening decided to form a co-operative j company, to bo called the Rodney Cooperative Dairy Co., and to erect a factory in Warkworth at a cost of £4500. A preliminary canvass of the district resulted in promises being obtained of 1100 cows. The total number of cows in the proposed district amount, it is estimated, to 2000. The provisional directors appointed are Messrs. Hamilton. Wyllie, S. Morrison, T. Edwards, E. Ellis, F. Grimmer and A. S. Carran. V
Several sites arc under offer on the tidal waterfront, and it is hoped to start building early in the New Year.
