Mrs. Hayes, of Kiiißston-on-Thames, celebrated her 103 rd birthday by taking her first ride in a motor-car. When she returned she said: "I have been to heaven and back."
Mfs. Ha yes still reads, but is slightly deaf. One of her chief amusements is trying to pick the winners of horse racos. She lived at Doncaster until she was 90 years old. She has many memories of the St. Leger,
