BOY KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR
FALL FROM TELEGRAPH POLE.
Injuries sustained through being knocked down by a motor-car near the Kowhai Junior High School yesterday afternoon resulted in the admission of Frederick Robert Brown, aged 12, to the Auckland Hospital suffering from abrasions. A broken arm and severe face injuries were sustained by an employee of the Post and Telegraph Department, Alexander MacLeod MacLennan, aged 18, who fell from a telegraph polo on the King's Wharf yesterday afternoon. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital shortly before five o'clock. His condition is not regarded as serious.
