RACECOURSE ACCIDENTS.
Sir, —Anyone who has attended a number of the country meetings since tho start of the present season must agree with the excellent suggestion of a correspondent bearing on tho provision of a motor ambulance at theSe meetings, especially as one lias seen at one or two meetings an out-of-date conveyance, drawn by twu draught horses. In the case of Tito'.s accident, it would not have made a considerable difference, as I am informed that both doctors who attended to him were of opinion that it was not desirable to move him for some time after the accident, the ambulance being on the ground practically before this time elapsed. This particular case does not, of course, minimise the fact that the ambulance, as suggested by your correspondent, should have been available, Ihe cobt to :i number of tho clubs making provision for one collectively would n<jt amount to much, especially con* sidering tho need for it. Sport.
