HOT WATER SERVICES.

To tho users of gas cookers the Dixon-Evans Patent Hot Water System supplies a long-felt need. Tho principal feature of the installation is found in the fact that no extra gas is required to supply tho household with ample clean hot water for cooking and washingup purposes. Tho patent is simplicity itself. Tho customary cast bars of the Hotplate are removed and in their stead aro placed copper tubes connected in two places with a handsomo copper reservoir attached to tho wall near the cooker. This reservoir holds from two gallons upwards. Tho water is forced by gravity through tho copper tubes and tho heat from burners under the kettle or vegetables saucepans forcing the water up into tho reservoir again and keeps it constantly circulating. It is thus that a saving of gas is effected, as the gas which is doing tho ordinarycooking is also heating the water in the reservoir at the samo time. The operation of this patent is entirely automatic and devoid of the slightest danger. It is stated that several hundred of the Dixon-Evans Fatent Hot Water Systems are in uso in Auckland alone, and are giving complete satisfaction, as well as effecting a considerable saving of gas. Tho manufacturers possess a largo number of letters from well-known Aucklanders, expressing appreciation of the benefits they have received through installing this heater. These letters are open for inspection. There is no make of gas cooker to which this patent cannot bo fitted, and intending purchasers can obtain a practical demonstration by arrangement with J. R. McArthur, Ltd., 26, Hallenstein Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, where also any further particulars and advice are freely given. From tho points of view of ediciency and economy, this unique yet simplo plant must appeal to all users of gas cookers, and tho cost of installation is well within tho reach of the average purse.
