COMPLAINTS BY PASSENGERS.

Serious complaints have been made by second-class passengers who arrived by the- steamer Mishima Main from Japan, concerning the conduct of a party of 40 Maoris on board The latter, it is stated, dominated the second-class accommodation, and on two occasions assaulted other passengers.

On the arrival of the vessel at Sydney a letter of complaint was forwarded to the shipping master's office.
