FOG STILL AN IMPEDIMENT.

S«uier. . LONDON. Dec. 11. The London wool sales were again abandoned today owing to the fog precluding sampling. The committee will decide to-morrow regarding the closing of the series.

At the Sydney wool sales firm rates ruled for good woo! and competition was general. Dusty and hurry lots wore from 5 to 10 per cent, lower.
Greasy Merino realised 43d. Scoured Merino met with strong demand and realised fully late rates. Fresh season's records are reported, 65d having been paid for fleece and for bellies.
At the Melbourne sales prices for best sorts were firm, up to 43d being obtained. Others were irregular.
