TRADE OF BRITAIN.
RETURNS FOR NOVEMBER.
IMPROVEMENTS ON LAST YEAR,
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9.5 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 11.
The Board of Trade returns for November show that the total imports were valued at £118,740,228, a decrease of £1.718,100 compared with October. The exports for November were valued at £68,150,816, a decreases of £435,822 compared with the previous monTli. Re-ex-ports in November totalled £12,326,985.
Compared with November, 1923. the imports increased by £17,143,237, exports by £2,582,661 and reexports by £2,155,875.
The principal increases were :—lmports ; Grain and flour, £5,757,567; dutiable food and drink, £2,565,908; raw cotton*. £1,227,118; wool, £2,003.951. Exports: Food and drink, £1,689,370; woollen yarns and manufacture?, £1,015,635.
The chief decreases were :—Exports : Coal, £2,975.638; iron and steel, £1,324.803.
