NEW SERVICES TO-MORROW.

THE "LIMITEDS"" COMPOSITION.

EIGHT PASSENGER CARS.

The new Main Trunk express services will commence to-morrow evening, when the limited express will leave Auckland for Wellington at 7.10 p.m., while the limited from Wellington to Auckland will leave Wellington at the same time- Tho souih-bound express is due to arrive at Welling!on at 9.31 a.m., and tho Auck-land-bound train at 9.26 a.m. on Monday. The limited will leave every day except Saturday, and will stop at tho following immediate stations only:—Frank ton, Taumarunui, Ohakune, Taihape, Marion and I'almerston North.

For tho present the express will be limited to eight passenger carriages and a van, and tho composition will probably be threo first class cars, three second-class, and two sleepers. Ono of the sleeping cars is expected to be of the present type, while tho other will have two compartments, each containing 12 berths. This car will be reserved for men, as tho second car, with its two-berth and four-, berth compartments is more suitablo for ladies.

Tho ordinary Auckland-Wellington express will now leave Auckland at 7.45 p.m. every day except Saturday, arriving at Wellington at 1.50 p.m. tho following day. Tho ordinary north express will continuo to leave Wellington at tho usual time, 12.45 p.m., arriving at Auckland at 6.38 tho following morning.

There will thus be two expresses a day from each centre, while during the Christmas and New Year holidays, from next Wednesday to January 5, thcro will bo an extra express leaving .Auckland daily at 1 p.m., except on Christmas Day and Sundays, and an extra oxpress leaving Wellington at 2 p.m. daily, except Christmas Day and Sundays. Additional trains will also run between Auckland and Palmerston North, and Auckland and Taumarunui during tho holidays.

Commencing on Monday, separate expresses will, run on the Auckland-Rotorua and tho Auckland-Thames linos. Tho Thames express will leave Auckland at 9.12 a.m., and tho Rotorua express at 10.5 a.m.
